Day 5: Tuesday, June 3rd
Today Chris and I joined Alec in a few of his classes (he teaches English at a University here in Beijing) and we had ourselves a great time sharing some information about ourselves; we talked to them about our hometown, our interests, our knowledge of China, and they shared with us similar information. We were nervous in the first class so we were a little reserved, but the 2nd and 3rd classes were better. Most interestingly we had a group discussion where we told the class what we knew of China, and conversely the class shared with us their thoughts and views of America.
In between classes we jumped across town to grab some of the best pizza that China has to offer, and it was great.
After the classes we were ready to grab one of China's delicacies: roast duck. We did this at a classy restaurant near the Google and Microsoft buildings here in Beijing, ordering a bottle of wine, some fish, and the duck. Needless to say the dinner was amazing.
